These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale and delivery of products by HB Slakter (“we,” “our,” “us”). By placing an order through our website, farmers’ market stand, or any other sales channel, you (“you,” “customer,” “buyer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Orders & Acceptance

  • Orders are accepted at our discretion and subject to availability.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including those with pricing errors or suspected fraud.

  • An order is considered accepted only after payment has been received in full.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without prior notice.

  • Payment must be made using accepted methods listed at checkout.

  • Promotional discounts or coupons are valid only within the dates and conditions specified.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship frozen pork products within the continental United States only.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or weather conditions.

  • Risk of loss passes to you once the order has been delivered to the carrier.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect addresses.

4. Local Pickup

  • Orders designated for local pickup must be collected within the timeframe communicated at purchase.

  • Uncollected orders may be forfeited without refund.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • All sales are final due to the perishable nature of our products.

  • Refunds or replacements are only considered if the product arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect.

  • Any claims must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt with supporting evidence (e.g., photos).

6. Food Safety & Handling

  • Our pork products are USDA inspected and packaged to maintain quality.

  • You are responsible for proper storage, refrigeration/freezing, and safe preparation after receipt or pickup.

  • HB Slakter is not liable for illness or damages resulting from improper handling, storage, or preparation.

7. Website & Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (logos, text, product images, etc.) is owned by HB Slakter and may not be reproduced without permission.

  • You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • HB Slakter’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, arising from use of our products or services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HB Slakter harmless against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our products, website, or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
