Who we are

HB Slakter is run by two 40 something brothers with a passion for quality pork and customer service. We operate our small farm in Ixonia, WI with our family and other local partners.

The feed and other resources are local. The forage is natural and wild. The pigs are heritage breeds and healthy and live their entire lives on our farm’s pastures and land.

Breeds:

HB Slakter used three heritage pig breeds and crosses of each to attain pork perfection for our customers.
Berkshire Pork. Often called Kurobuta pork, Berkshire pigs are known for their quality and taste.

Duroc Pork: The Duroc is an older breed of heritage pig known for clean and tasty pork with fantastic texture and not too fatty.

Hampshire Pork: Hampshire pork is known for delicious, well-textured and lean pork thanks to the high muscle content.

HB Slakter can fulfill small, occasional shipments to meet seasonal or special requirements and we can fulfill regular bi-monthly shipments of all cuts of pork.
